We have an opportunity in Clara City, MN as a Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator works alongside the Management Team which includes Vice President of Extrusion Technology and Strategy, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, Extrusion Manger and members of Corporate Sales, Quality, HR, Safety and Sanitation teams on daily production strategies, production goals and providing input from observations on the production floor to improve processes.
Essential Functions:
Owning and maintaining the production schedule for most efficient use of line time Monitor and report efficiencies to plant management for obtaining greater EBITDA Entering production orders Coordinating ingredients, both customer and purchased. Purchasing of company supplied ingredients and materials Scheduling required cleanups Use of SYS21 for tracking and reporting of production and inventories Use of Excel data bases for tracking production schedule, daily run data, downtime, cleanups etc Experience/
Qualifications:
Must have at least 10 years' experience in food production, at least 5 of those in a management position. Must have experience with food production equipment, preferably extrusion. Must have extensive experience with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) in a food production facility. Must be able to stand, walk and work in hot conditions for long periods of time. Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience and skills. Previous experience in inventory control planning in manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent knowledge of computer software applications. Extrusion
